A quote from the Bard

William Shakespeare's quotes are very popular in the English language. I found a good one for us new Web educators.

"Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt." William Shakespeare

Aren't we brave, my comrades-in-arms?

  1. Brave we are. Doubts or no doubts, I'm sticking with it! hehehehe. I wonder if he had doubts about his future and his career while still a young lad in Stratford-Upon-Avon. hahahaha.

  2. Hi, Luiz.

We're brave indeed and, to steal a phrase from Andy, some of us are sticking with it!

I'm sure, incidentally, that The Bard must've had doubts about his future, not only while a lad, but also in his later years. He was born in 1564, but didn't really become established as part of the London dramatic scene until 1592, I understand (see the Wikipedia article). Granted, he was only 28 at that time, but 28 was older then than it is now, given the lower life expectancies in the 16th and 17th Centuries.

Be that as it may, Excelsior!
